Molise
Situato nell’Italia centro-meridionale, il Molise si estende tra la dorsale appenninica e il mare Adriatico.
Natura, storia, arte, antiche tradizioni e gastronomia sono i tesori di questa terra ancora poco conosciuta.
Nel visitare il Molise si prova infatti una sensazione di “scoperta”, a cominciare dal suo territorio, prevalentemente montuoso e collinare, solcato dai caratteristici "tratturi", i percorsi storici della transumanza che uniscono i pascoli abruzzesi con quelli pugliesi.
Il Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise rivela inaspettati magnifici paesaggi, mentre le numerose riserve naturali proteggono le specie vegetali e animali tipiche di questa area.
Scenari di natura incontaminata incorniciano anche le due stazioni sciistiche più importanti della regione: Campitello Massese e Capracotta.
Il litorale presenta spiagge sabbiose, circondate da vegetazione mediterranea e da un mare limpido e pulito, che anche quest’anno è stato premiato con la Bandiera Blu.
La storia millenaria e la cultura della regione possono essere scoperte visitando i siti archeologici, le abbazie, i borghi e i numerosi castelli presenti sul territorio.
La sopravvivenza di usi e tradizioni, di attività artigianali e antichi mestieri altrove scomparsi è una caratteristica unica, che rende il Molise un “piccolo mondo antico”.

The region comprises the provinces of Campobasso (regional capital) and Isernia.

Beim Besuch in Molise hat man daher das Gefühl auf Entdeckungsreise zu sein, angefangen bei der vorherrschenden Gebirgs- und Hügellandschaft, die von den charakteristischen „tratturi“ durchzogen wird, den alten Schaftrecken der Transhumanz, die von den Abruzzen bis nach Apulien führen.
Der Nationalpark Abruzzen-Latium-Molise offenbart unerwartet schöne Landschaften, während die zahlreichen Naturschutzgebiete die einheimische Tier- und Pflanzenwelt bewahren.
Auch die zwei wichtigsten Wintersportorte im Gebiet Campitello Matese und Capracotta, sind von einer urwüchsigen Natur umgeben. Die Küste bietet Sandstrände inmitten der einzigartigen Mittelmeervegetation und wird von wunderschönen kristallblauen Fluten umspült. Auch dieses Jahr ist die Küste wieder mit der „Blauen Fahne“ für gute Wasser- und Umweltqualität und guten Service ausgezeichnet worden. Man kann die tausendjährige Geschichte und Kultur dieser Region entdecken, wenn man die archäologischen Ausgrabungen, die Abteien, die zahlreichen Burgen und kleinen Dörfer der Region besichtigt.
Das Fortbestehen alter Traditionen, andernorts längst ausgestorbener Handwerke und der entsprechenden Erzeugnisses ist ein unverkennbares Merkmal dieser Region, die auch als „kleine alte Welt“ bezeichnet wird.
