Liguria
Nel Nord Ovest d’Italia, al confine con la Francia, si trova la Liguria, una terra di montagne imponenti e di dolci colline colorate dal verde della macchia mediterranea che si affacciano sul mar Tirreno con coste alte e frastagliate.
E’ una regione dalle molteplici sfaccettature, diverse ma indissolubilmente unite fra loro per offrire un ricco panorama di opportunità a chi sceglie questa terra per trascorrere le sue vacanze.
Natura, mare, montagna, cultura ma anche divertimento e vita mondana: non c’è che l’imbarazzo della scelta.
La grande risorsa della Liguria è il mare, con le sue coste rocciose interrotte da piccole insenature dove trovano riparo graziose piccole spiagge di sabbia finissima. Le Cinque Terre e il Golfo dei Poeti, il Golfo del Tigullio, Genova e il Golfo Paradiso, la Riviera delle Palme e la Riviera dei Fiori formano la famosa costa ligure che si estende, da Ameglia a Ventimiglia, per più di 300 km. Lungo questo itinerario, spettacolare per la bellezza dei paesaggi terrestri e marini, si incontrano le più famose località turistiche della Liguria: Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Sestri Levante, con la sua incantevole Baia del Silenzio, e Chiavari. Un susseguirsi di ampie spiagge, porticcioli e scenari tutti da esplorare che, di sera, lasciano spazio al divertimento e allo shopping.
Sanremo, la città dei fiori, nota per il Festival della canzone Italiana e per il Casinò, la raffinata Bordighera e Alassio con i suoi 3 chilometri di spiaggia finissima, Varigotti e Laigueglia sono alcune delle “gemme” incastonate nella Riviera di Ponente.
E ancora, Portovenere di fronte all’sola di Palmaria e Lerici con l’imponente castello medievale, le sue eleganti ville ed i suoi rigogliosi giardini.
Un mare talmente bello da attrarre anche numerosi esemplari di capidogli, balenottere e delfini che in questa area, definita il “Santuario dei Cetacei”, hanno trovato il loro habitat naturale dove vivere in totale sicurezza.
Le grandi distese boschive della Liguria, con i suoi alberi secolari, vero e proprio patrimonio naturalistico, rappresentano una offerta alternativa al turismo tradizionale. Una vera e propria immersione nella natura per conoscere e vivere i luoghi dove l’uomo, con amore e dedizione, ha saputo ottenere da questa terra i suoi migliori frutti. Luoghi che trasudano storia, cultura e tradizioni, testimonianza del passaggio degli antichi popoli provenienti dal mare.

The sea is the great resource of this region, with its rocky coasts interrupted by small coves and beaches of fine golden sand.
The Cinque Terre and the Gulf of Poets, the Gulf of Tigullio, Genoa and Paradise Gulf, the Riviera delle Palme and the Riviera dei Fiori make up the famous coast of Liguria which stretches from Ameglia to Ventimiglia, for more than 300 km. In this itinerary, spectacular for the beauty of its land and seascapes, we can see the most famous tourist resorts of Liguria: Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Sestri Levante, with its enchanting Baia del Silenzio, and Chiavari.
There's a succession of ample beaches, little ports and amazing sceneries to explore, which turn into lively centres by night, with plenty of entertainment and shopping on offer. There's Sanremo, the city of flowers, famous for the Italian Music Festival and for its Casino. The refined towns of Bordighera and Alassio, with its 3 kilometers of fine sand, along with Laigueglia and Varigotti are some of the “gems” embedded in the Riviera di Ponente.
Then comes Portovenere, in front of Palmaria Island, and Lerici with its grand medieval castle, elegant villas and lush gardens.
The sea is so beautiful that it also attracts several specimens of sperm whales, rorquals and dolphins, which found their natural habitat and live safely in this area, called the “Sanctuary of Cetaceans”.
The great woods of Liguria with their century-old trees, a real natural heritage, are a good alternative to traditional tourism. You will plunge into nature to get to know and see the places where man, with love and dedication, managed to obtain the best fruits from this territory. Places full of history, culture and traditions, which witness the passage of ancient peoples coming from the sea.

An dieser am Festland wie an der Küste mit spektakulären Landschaften aufwartenden Reiseroute liegen die bekanntesten Fremdenverkehrsorte Liguriens: Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Sestri Levante mit seiner bezaubernden Baia del Silenzio und Chiavari. Eine Abfolge weiter Strände, kleiner Häfen und traumhafter Ecken, die es zu entdecken gilt und die vor allem abends jede Menge Unterhaltung und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bieten.
San Remo, die vor allem durch das Festival des italienischen Schlagers und das Casino bekannte Stadt der Blumen, das vornehme Bordighera und Alassio mit seinem 3 km langen Sandstrand, Laigueglia und Varigotti sind nur einige der Perlen der ligurischen Westküste. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auch in Portovenere gegenüber den Inseln Palmaria und Lerici, mit seinem beeindruckenden mittelalterlichen Schloss, den eleganten Villen und üppigen Gärten. Das herrliche Meer lockt auch zahlreiche Pottwale, Furchenwale und Delphine an, die in diesem Gebiet, dem so genannten „Walheiligtum”, ihr natürliches Habitat gefunden haben. Die ausgedehnten Wälder Liguriens mit ihren alten Bäumen, wahre Naturdenkmäler, stellen eine Alternative zum Strandurlaub dar. Hier kann man Eintauchen in die Natur und mit eigenen Augen sehen, wie der Mensch es verstanden hat, die Erde mit Liebe und Hingabe zu bewirtschaften. Es sind Orte, an denen man die Geschichte, Kultur und Tradition der antiken Seevölker noch deutlich spürt.
